Training to Perform Under Pressure is presenting a FREE, three-day intensive training event designed to build upon your fireground knowledge, skills, and operational capability across critical fireground functions. Tuition and lodging are provided at no cost through the support of the Gary Sinise Foundation, creating a rare opportunity for firefighters to train at a high level without financial barriers. This event is built around three focused, one-day programs that address firefighter rescue, truck company operations, and advanced hoseline deployment in demanding fireground environments.Participants will complete Firefighter Rescue Under Collapse, Truck Functions, and Hoseline Systems: Running Long Lines, progressing through hands-on, skill-driven training that emphasizes systematic operations, disciplined fundamentals, and performance under pressure. Each program is designed to develop practical, repeatable systems that firefighters can apply immediately on the fireground. Upon completion, attendees will receive a training certificate for each program, resulting in three certifications over the course of the event. Beyond skill development, participants gain valuable experience operating alongside peers from other departments, reinforcing fireground decision-making, teamwork, and confidence. This is more than a training opportunity—it is a comprehensive fireground development experience built to prepare firefighters to perform when it matters most.
