More details coming soon! What Is a Garlic Mustard Pull?
A Garlic Mustard Pull is a volunteer effort to remove garlic mustard, an invasive plant that spreads quickly and crowds out native wildflowers and woodland plants. Because it grows aggressively and produces thousands of seeds, early removal is key to protecting our local ecosystems.
Volunteers work together to hand-pull the plants—roots and all—before they go to seed. It’s simple, family-friendly work that requires no special experience, just a willingness to help. Removing garlic mustard helps native plants thrive, supports pollinators, and improves the overall health of our natural areas.
It’s a small action that makes a big impact.
What to bring and wear: positive attitude, reusable water bottle, dress for the weather, gloves will be provided unless you want to bring your own.
All are welcome to attend this event. It is hosted by the Cannon Township Invasive Species Committee.
