Fight an invasive species by eating it! Our Land Stewardship team needs your help to pull garlic mustard, an invasive plant, and then we’ll teach you how to make a delicious pesto with it! You’ll take home some pesto, the knowledge you need to find and remove it in your own neighborhood, and the satisfaction of knowing that you helped do something good for your community-owned nature center!Cost:
Non-Member Adult: $10
Member Adult (20% discount): $8
Note: This program is intended for adults. Pre-registration is required due to limited capacity. Online registration closes at noon the day before the program. If the program sells out, you may complete your online registration to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available. This program will take place both outdoors on our trails and indoors. Please dress for the weather. In the case of severe weather, the program will be cancelled and you will be notified of your refund options.
