About this Event
This May 18th, one week after Mother's Day, come join our church Gardening with Mother! This is a semi-annual event we've been doing doing since 2022 (2023). This is geared towards family interaction- teaching children and adults alike, how to garden with God-given resources, earth, water, plants and love.
This year we're planning something special by learning about God's original plan for humanity to eat a plant-based diet. We'll cover the following topics of gardening with hands-on activities:
- Saving seeds, storage, and growing your own plants from seed
- What to add to dirt to have nutrient rich growing soil
- How to transplant plants provided at the event
- What kinds of timed/wifi irrigation systems are available
This year we’re offering a small salad lunch at 12:30pm where we’ll share fun garden recipes using the items we grow, focusing on salads this time.
