Learn how to plant, grow and enjoy your work as a container gardener in the city!
About this Event

Class Description

In this class, you will learn to understand the limitations and advantages of container gardening. From seeds to canning consisting of a variety of bushes, flowers, vegetables and fruits.

The materials fee for this class is $40. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts Cash or Venmo.

Instructor - Helena Romanovsky

Helena has been gardening since she could remember. Planting and taking care of veggies and flowers was a skill learned in childhood that she continues to share with her local community. After enough neighbors, coworkers of her Husband and greater A2 community came in and asked for her advice, she has decided to teach a class on the very subject! She is also an experienced seamstress and Instructor in the Fiber Arts Shop at Artisans Asylum.


Target Audience

Students who are curious about gardening and how they can grow their own flowers/plants/food in an urban enviornment. Students must be 16 years or older. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Class Policies

Attire: Clothes you dont might getting dirty/messy. Pick your clothing accordingly, aprons are encouraged!
