With your plants now producing, it is important to shift focus to the next steps in the gardening cycle. Harvesting at the right time ensures you make the most of your efforts throughout the season. Implementing effective harvesting tips and tricks will help you gather fruits, vegetables, and herbs at their peak quality. We will thoroughly examine the significance of these practices to ensure you achieve multiple abundant harvests
before frost and beyond. We will be focusing on Organic, sustainable, eco-friendly, recyclable approaches only, providing healthy solutions from Seed to Glass.
Preservation Methods
Once harvested, preserving your produce is key to enjoying your hard work during the colder months. Various methods, such as canning, drying, creating herbal remedies, and freezing, provide options to keep your harvest fresh and useful long after the growing season has ended. We will discuss more in detail these
methods and honestly how easy it is.
Season Wrap-up
Although I understand we are just starting the 2026 Season, it is important to think ahead. Mother nature has her way of “uprooting” how we think or assume the season will go. Being ready for environmental shifts will help in closing out the season on a high note. We will review such topics like; how to successfully bring plants indoors to overwinter, composting the plants that have completed their life cycle, storing tools/containers, closing the “garden,” and so much more.
