Gardener's Workshop: Tool Sharpening

Winter's the perfect time of the year for many of those woody plant pruning projects! Before you make those final cuts, come and learn from our garden educator, Ron Roberto, on how to sharpen your own gardening tools.

General admission will include the following tool sharpening and maintenance materials: a whetstone block, 3oz multi-purpose oil, steel wool and a scouring pad.

Please bring the following materials: 1 hand pruner, dry rags, small scrubbing brush, and tools for pruner dismantling (a few of these will be provided by us).

Attendees are to meet at the Nature Education Center Classroom, which is a 1 minute walk behind the Cylburn Mansion.
