Join the University of Illinois Extension McHenry County Master Gardeners and MCC for the annual Garden Walk each July, starting at the outdoor Demonstration Garden at MCC. Attendees experience all gardens at their own pace on a self-guided tour and Master Gardeners are on-site at each garden to answer questions and offer educational materials.
SATURDAY, JULY 11, 2026, FROM 9 A.M. TO 4 P.M.
Come out for a day of gorgeous gardens, education, and fun! On Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the University of Illinois Extension McHenry County Master Gardeners and McHenry County College will host their annual Garden Walk, a tour of 9 gardens. This self-guided drive will feature gardens in Crystal Lake, Woodstock, Bull Valey and McHenry. Experience colorful gardens studded with artwork, edible plots, and more. You will learn at least one thing new as you enjoy the diversity of these beautiful spaces. The MCC Student Farm is open for Garden Walk visitors. There are nine self-guided tour signs around the area.
All gardens will be open for viewing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Attendees are invited to experience all gardens at their own pace on a self-guided tour.
Master Gardeners will be on-site at each garden to answer questions and offer educational materials.
The event is held rain or shine.
No pets, please.

Tickets are $15 through June 27. No refunds.
Early registration tickets are available May 4, 2026-June 27, 2026. After June 27, 2026 tickets will be available the day of at the Demo Garden at MCC for $20.
Pick up tickets at MCC at the Master Gardener's Demonstration Garden, just off parking lot C. No tickets will be mailed.
Your ticket is required to enter each garden.
