About this Event
You're invited to a Garden Party at Luana’s Tavern in Carroll Gardens, built around good people, good energy, and the satisfying click of the tiles.
The evening will feature open play tables, with an experienced mahjong player circulating throughout the night to answer questions and offer guidance. A limited number of beginner lesson spots will also be available.
The event is designed to feel relaxed, social, and community-driven. Play a few rounds, meet other players, have some cocktails, and enjoy the energy that makes mahjong so addictive.
Ticket includes:
Guided open-play or beginner lesson (small group lesson)
Welcome cocktail or mocktail
An array of appetizers and soft drinks
A few fun additions from local businesses we love
We'll provide all materials to play including tiles, racks and mats. Bring your 2026 NMJL card if you have; we'll have extras if you forget it.
