About ReClaim It: Founded as a nonprofit in 2014, ReClaim It is the only organization in Portland with permission to glean reusable materials directly from the transfer station. By rescuing these materials, ReClaim It is able to offer affordable, sustainable supplies to artists, neighbors, and DIYers to reuse, repair & reimagine. To date, the nonprofit has diverted over 1.3 million pounds of usable items from the landfill, embodying Portland’s values of creativity, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
