The 8th annual Garden City Comedy Festival Gala Night returns with an incredible lineup of world class talent ready to bring the laughs to downtown St. Catharines.
Headlining this years Gala Night is the hilarious Jeff Leeson!
For over 25 years Jeff Leeson has been astonishing crowds across North America with his off the cuff, improvisational style that leaves crowds not only wanting more, but amazed at what they just witnessed. Combining traditional stand up comedy with long form improv Jeff creates a unique and personal experience for the audience each and every show. With over 100 million views of his stand up clips online Jeff is quickly becoming one of the most requested acts in North America!
This laugh packed evening will also feature a hilarious lineup of some of the country's top performers.
Ronnie Edwards: Ronnie is an English-born, Jamaican-bred, Canadian jester who's streetwise humour hits the mark both at home and abroad. Having worked with the likes of Jim Carrey and Chris Rock, Ronnie was a star of the US version of the Comic Strip and has also appeared on Alfred Hitchcock Presents for NBC and numerous shows in his second home of Canada.
Cathy Boyd: Cathy Boyd is a brutally honest stand-up comedian. Known for her dry demeanor and punchline-heavy hitting, her act impresses audiences everywhere. She has recorded for CBC Laugh Out Loud and has appeared on season one of Canada’s Got Talent where judge Howie Mandel remarked, “You’re very funny. You’ve found your calling.”
Rhiannon Archer: Rhiannon has been a part of many comedy festivals throughout North America such as JFL42, NXNE, Boston Women in Comedy, and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. She has been nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Comedy Short, One Woman Show, which she wrote and starred.
