Galway Sports Partnership's Online Safeguarding 3 Workshop

Safeguarding 3 is a 3-hour online course for Designated Liaison Person's . Participants must have completed Safeguarding 1 before attending.
About this Event

Safeguarding 3 will help the Designated Liaison Person to carry out the function of their role in the club and support the implementation of best practice in the club.

A person appointed to the Designated Liaison Person position in a club must have completed the Safeguarding 1 workshop.

The online Safeguarding 3 Workshop is an interactive course which requires participants to:

1. Have completed the Safeguarding 1 workshop (evidence of certificate number)

2. Have good internet connection: allow you to have a video / take part in group discussion

3. Have access to email: The course resources and Zoom link will be emailed to participants in advance of the course.

4. Attend the full course: to gain accreditation, it is essential to complete the whole course

Please note: Participants must be over 18. (For attendees under 18 - a Parental Consent form will need to be completed, email [email protected] for info)

The online course will be delivered via Zoom, between 7pm - 10pm.

Certificates of completion will be issued by post and participant details are subsequently registered with Sport Ireland's National Database.
