About this Event
Join us for Beekeeping 101, a four-week introductory course designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to start and manage your own hive. This Extension-led program will cover bee biology, hive equipment, installation basics, seasonal management, pest control, and honey production fundamentals.
Class sessions will be held on June 30th, July 7th, July 14th, and July 21st, followed by a hands-on hive experience on July 25th, where participants will get the opportunity to work bees and apply what they’ve learned in a real apiary setting.
Whether you’re brand new to beekeeping or looking to strengthen your foundation, this course will set you up for success.
