About this Event
Join us for a special book talk and gallery experience celebrating Arturo Rodriguez, the first-ever monograph on the acclaimed artist, spanning more than forty-seven years of his work. From his dark, moody landscapes of the early 1980s to the vibrant, lyrical paintings of the 1990s and 2000s, and through his most recent works from 2025, this landmark volume traces Rodríguez’s evolving vision and painterly journey.
Featuring more than two hundred full-color reproductions, studio photographs, and essays by leading scholars including Lynette Bosch, David Everett Howe, José Martinez, and David Kuspit, the book offers a rich and intimate portrait of an artist whose work explores memory, color, and the human experience. The event will include a conversation with Arturo Rodríguez and a chance to view selected works from the exhibition.
🎟 Admission is free. RSVP encouraged.
