Join us at the Acton Memorial Library for artist Jim Roberts' talk on his series "The Big Sky".
Roberts' work will be displayed in the meeting room from May/June.
Jim Roberts
"I create images that I find compelling, so that I may share them with others. I’m inspired by nature and the bountiful beauty that surrounds us. I look for patterns, colors, and shapes to convey a feeling or a sense of place. My photography also provides inspiration and serves as reference for my paintings. I am a painter and printmaker born and raised in Massachusetts. I studied Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, and Printmaking at Boston University, and Graphic Design and Illustration at U.C.Berkeley Extension in San Francisco. My work is in many private collections and has been featured in national publications and solo and group shows in Greater Boston, and New York City."
