gallery alley transforms a MICA-owned segment of the neglected West Trenton Street (located between Falls Road and Maryland Avenue) into an open-air art and greenspace celebrating cultural and ecological heritage. gallery alley features creative work by MICA alumni, faculty, staff, and students, celebrating the rich cultural and ecological heritage of the nearby Jones Falls River and surrounding Station North Arts District.

Trenton Street Alley, between Falls Road and Maryland Avenue) Fostering artistic exchanges between Baltimore, Puerto Rico, and Mexico City, Intersticial brings together international artists for a live performance that centers Latin American and Caribbean femininity within art institutions. Organized by Curatorial Practice MFA candidate Taro Cantú, the performance is choreographed by Mexican dancer and choreographer Camila Arroyo and soundtracked by Dominican-American DJ Alejandra Nuñez in collaboration with Mexican DJ Andrea Aguilar . The soundscape of the performance will be broadcast live by the Mexican independent radio station Radio Nopal.
