- 11 am - From Trash to Treasure: How Composting Helps Create a Healthier Community with Ryan Green, Happy Trashcan Composting
Join Ryan Green, co-owner of Happy Trash Can Curbside Composting, to learn the importance of composting and its beneficial effects on the health of our community and local soils. This workshop will cover the basics of composting, how to compost at home and background on HTC's work over the last 10 years leading the charge on closing the loop in Gallatin Valley.

With Jessica Ahlstrom, Water Conservation Program Manager and Kori Navarro, Water Conservation Technician
Join the City of Bozeman to learn about Bozeman’s water supply, how Bozeman plans for its water future, and water conservation resources available to help you save water. Then, walk through a step-by-step process for tackling a DIY landscape makeover to convert your yard from thirsty to thriving – including plant choices, soil considerations, and how to best meet the watering needs of your landscape.

Title: Live Raptor Presentation with Keaton Thomas, Montana Raptor Conservation Center
Learn about the Montana Raptor Conservation Center's mission and explore the distinctive features that set birds apart from other animal groups, with a specific emphasis on raptor characteristics. This program caters to all age groups.

- Earth Day passport educational games - win prizes
Pick up your Earth Day passport at the Earth Day informational table, visit booths listed on the passport, get your passport stamped, after at least 7 stamps, return to the informational table to retrieve your prize and put in for the GRAND PRIZE drawing - a large stuffed bison and stuffed wolf (Courtesy of the Great Rocky Mountain Toy Company).

This year, Gallatin Valley Earth Day is excited to promote sustainable and local foods as part of the Festival. In addition to highlighting Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market, a handful of vendors will be offering foods that feature sustainable or local ingredients in the festival courtyard. This pop-up food area is designed to center ingredients that nurture people, planet, and community— because what we eat matters! No greenwashing, just practical, delicious food.

9 am: 5K Earth Day Fun Run - Big Sky Winddrinkers runs this fundraising event to support Sustainable efforts in the Gallatin Valley. Register for the fun run at winddrinkers.org
9 am -12 pm: Winter Farmers Market — including ready-to-eat foods from Mountain Provisions, Sinclair Bakery, Vickie's Perogies, Ruthless Coffee, and others
