Joignez-nous le dimanche 17 mai de 18h à 20h à l’Atelier d’estampe Imago (1er étage Centre culturel Aberdeen, 140 rue Botsford) pour une soirée inoubliable!
Nous présenterons les résultats “gaieté sul tchœur”, un projet de création en collaboration avec Alter Acadie et la commissaire Aleya Michaud. Trois artistes visuels et trois poètes ont été invités à collaborer en duo pour créer une série limitée de t-shirts imprimés à la main : Dominique Boucher et Sébastien Lord-Émard, Myriam Thomas et Céleste Godin et Lucien Lacenaire et Mo Bolduc. Les t-shirts seront disponibles pour une prévente en ligne à partir du 10 mai au prix spécial de 25$ (lien à venir) et en personne lors de l'événement le 17 mai.
On débutera vers 18h15 avec un mot de bienvenu de la part du DG d’Alter Acadie, Alex Arseneau, suivi de performances de Myriam Thomas et Rose Beef. La soirée continue en vernissage convivial avec la musique par DJ Lu et de l’impression LIVE par Dominique Boucher.
Cette soirée soulignera aussi l'importante Journée mondiale de lutte contre l'homophobie, la transphobie et la biphobie.

Join us on Sunday, May 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Imago (1st floor, Aberdeen Cultural Centre, 140 Botsford Street) for an unforgettable evening!
We will present the results of “gaieté sul tchœur,” a creative project in collaboration with Alter Acadie and curator Aleya Michaud. Three visual artists and three poets were invited to collaborate in pairs to create a limited series of hand-printed T-shirts: Dominique Boucher and Sébastien Lord-Émard, Myriam Thomas and Céleste Godin, and Lucien Lacenaire and Mo Bolduc. The T-shirts will be available for online pre-sale starting May 10 at a special price of $25 (link will be announced later) and in person at the event on May 17.
The reception will begin around 6:15 PM with a welcome address from Alter Acadie’s Executive Director, Alex Arseneau, followed by performances by Myriam Thomas and Rose Beef. The evening continues with LIVE printing by artist Dominique Boucher, featuring music by DJ Lu.
The event will also mark the important International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.
