Years in the making, Gabriel Zucker’s sixth studio record Confession comes out November 21 on Boomslang Records. Alternately ethereal and bombastic, electronic and acoustic, vocal and instrumental, Confession is a deeply human reflection on what it means to know another person.
December 15 at Littlefield, Zucker and his band perform the entirety of Confession start to finish, for the first time ever. The remarkable ensemble features Connor Parks (drums), Lester St. Louis (bass, synth), Christian Cail (guitar), Alfredo Colón (saxophone), Dave Adewumi (trumpet), Ledah Finck (violin), and Zucker (piano, synth, voice).
Further bringing the symphonic music to life, movement artist and choreographer Alex Oliva presents new work set to portions of the music.
Stalwarts of the experimental indie scene Wendy Eisenberg and Grey Mcmurray will perform opening sets.
