About this Event
Come find out about streams and creeks! During this free workshop, you will learn how to tell if a stream environment is healthy. We will look at topographical maps, learn how to do a stream habitat assessment, and what things you can do to help your local environment! A fantastic workshop for students Middle School and up, this information is great for backyard enjoyment or for a school project.
This event will be held at the City of Griffin Stormwater Office. We will start promptly at 9am so please arrive by 8:30am to sign-in. Bring water, lunch, boots and clothes that you would not mind getting wet or dirty. Please RSVP by June 19th. Younger students are welcome but must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
