04:45am 4wd drop-off at BVD - briefing
05:00am Start hike
06:15am Reach Kebun
08:45am Reach Kem Tudung Periuk* (water point)
10:00am Reach Kem Kasut* (refill water for 5hrs hike)
11:15am Reach Gunung Yong Belar summit - rest & regroup
11:45am Continue hiking endless false peaks
*11:45am YONG BELAR CUT OFF TIME TO CONTINUE THE LOOP*
16:00pm Reach Kem Gurkha* (last water point - refill water)
17:15pm Reach Gunung Challi summit
18:00pm Reach Three Boundaries summit
19:30pm Reach 6040 summit
22:30pm Reach BVD trailhead - walk 2km to 4wd pick-up point
23:00pm Reach 4wd pick-up point
23:30pm 4wd drop-off at Guan Di Miao
Distance: ~28km
Elevation gain: ~2300m
Hiking hours: 14-18hrs (wet pipe road, technical mossy & muddy trail with never ending ups and downs)
NOTES:
1. Strictly adhere to cut off time - hikers who do not meet COT highly advise to uturn to Kebun, walk 4wd road back to Masjid Lojing
2. The itinerary is an estimated average timing - actual hike maybe shorter or longer
3. Car park and toilet facility are available at Masjid Lojing, parking fee 15 ringgit to be paid to PIC there
4. Carry at least 1.5 liter of water - natural water source is available and safe to drink with the addition of aqua tablet (recommended)
5. Wear proper hiking shoes and long trousers are recommended - weather can be extremely cold and windy in that mountain area
