Join us this Saturday Aug 23rd, in celebrating
our Co-Founder Kevin Benson’s bEarthday weekend,
to explore a moderate 6mi in the Redwoods Forest of Purisima Creek Open Space Preserve in Half Moon Bay.
This is a total of 1.4k ft elevation gain hike which takes about 3 hours to complete. We will be meeting at the lower parking at 830AM &be on the trail by 9AM, giving everyone time to get there safely.
Search for {Purisima creek trail, Purisima creek road trailhead} in your gps navigation to get to the right spot. The parking lot is small with an overflow spaces to park along the road. There’s little to no reception at the trailhead so let’s plan accordingly &arrive on time.
Wear comfortable tennis, hiking shoes or trail runners with good traction. Bring sports drinks/ electrolytes, Water &snacks for during the trek.
**The trails will be marked, &also iRecommend to download &install the AllTrails app on your mobile devices, create the regular account which gives You access to trail maps to follow just in case You get to the trailhead past start time.**
After the hike, We will be going for Brunch at
TASTE CAFE Restaurant @ 50 Cabrillo Hwy N B-2, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019.
