About this Event

This is a hybrid event; please find the link to the online version here

Futures thinking, Systems thinking, and Design thinking terms are utilized interchangeably while designing products and services. We are dedicating our next design dialogue to exploring these terms and how they impact "You - the users" in a design process.

In short, Futures Thinking is a framework for thinking systematically about possible future trends, intending to learn from them about today's actions. Systems Thinking is a term coined for another framework that wants to get at the connections between interacting subcomponents within a bounded system and to identify points of leverage for change. As we know, Design Thinking is about a framework to understand user needs and rapid iterations to get at a desired product or service.

If you feel these brief explanations did not give you enough understanding, join us as we compare these terms and methodologies with real-world examples and their impact on the product and services we design.
