Presented by Future Tech Leaders, a 501(c)(3) youth tech nonprofit based in Atlanta dedicated to introducing students to real-world technology careers through hands-on experiences.
Future Tech Leaders: Next Play is an immersive sports tech experience introducing students ages 6–18 to careers in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and UX/UI Design through the world of sports. No prior experience in sports or technology is required.
This event runs from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Students will explore how technology is used to enhance sports performance and fan engagement through hands-on, interactive activities. They will analyze real-world inspired data, solve challenges, and discover how technology supports decision-making in modern sports environments.
Participants will also take part in design challenges where they create fan experience concepts, dashboards, and interactive tools—learning how design and innovation shape user experiences in sports technology.
This experience is designed to be engaging, educational, and accessible for all students, connecting curiosity and creativity with real-world tech skills.
