About this Event
Future Heirlooms is a celebration of the host and the beauty of everyday objects. Alongside home goods and decorative objects presented as future artifacts, the opening night will include edible culinary installations—ephemeral works meant to be gathered, shared, and remembered.
Curated by local artist Wayne Halliburton and Chef Maria Morelos, Future Heirlooms was built from a shared love of communal dinners and beautiful homes. Highlighting work often considered "decor", craft, or otherwise underrepresented in the gallery world. Future Heirlooms showcases the work of twenty artists across a variety of mediums. Several artist talks will take place in the 8-9pm time frame.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and on opening night we will have an air purifier booked for the space through Clear the Air Austin. For any other accessibility questions, please reach out directly.
