Fun, exciting day for Year 9 and 10 students to learn and experience future careers that combine art, science, tech and engineering.
About this Event

Delivered in partnership by the Capital City Local Learning & Employment Network (City LLEN) with the Science Gallery at the University of Melbourne, our Future Careers Day will introduce you to people whose career pathway looks like a squiggle - not a straight line.

Among the activities scheduled the students will:

  • Be part of a Future Careers Forum being streamed to schools across Australia and internationally
  • Explore diverse and ever changing careers in a human-computer interaction where humans, nature and technology connect
  • Hang out in the Human Library - borrow an industry professional and ask them whatever you want
  • Meet employers in their offices in the innovation precinct above the gallery doing interesting, cutting-edge jobs.

Morning Tea Provided, BYO Lunch.

Each school may bring up to 25 students and at least 2 supervising teachers.

The gallery is accessible via trams up Swanston St and the new Parkville Metro train station. For schools intending to arrange their own bus transport please contact [email protected] for more information.
