Megan Alice Clune is a musician and composer from Gadigal and Wangal lands (Sydney, Australia). Her work blends music, technology, and the body through composition, performance, and installation. Known for her “visionary ambient” sound and “breathtakingly intimate” style, Megan’s music combines minimalism with rich textures. She draws on classical training, conceptualism, avant-garde influences, and electronic music.
Megan has collaborated with filmmakers, visual artists, and choreographers, and has performed internationally, including at Silent Green (Berlin) and the Sydney Opera House. Her albums, Furtive Glances (2023) and If You Do (2021), have received praise from Bandcamp Daily, Boomkat, and Groove Magazine.
Her new album, Repetition Study I: imagine being, has just been released on the Meakusma label. The performance will mark its official release event. Recorded during her 2024 European tour, the work unfolds in four movements for voice, piano, clarinet, and pedals. Expansive yet intimate, it explores repetition, memory, and subtle harmonic shifts in a quietly radical minimalist form.
