About this Event
The countdown to the world's biggest sporting event is officially on! To celebrate the upcoming World Cup, join Latino Outdoors Houston at Memorial Park Picnic Area in the South Picnic Lane for a morning of soccer, community, and culture.
Whether you are a seasoned player who can bend it like Messi, a casual fan, or a family looking for a fun morning out, there is a place for you on our pitch. Come out in your favorite international jersey! We will host casual pickup games with various rounds. When you are not playing, enjoy music, connect with neighbors, and grab a light snack. This event is family-friendly and open to all skill levels.

**Note: Individuals under16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Arrive early as teams will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.

**What to wear and bring:
- Athletic wear and/or cool comfortable clothing to run in
- Athletic sneakers or soccer cleats. No open toe shoes allowed!
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Reusable waterbottle
- Face towel
**LO will provide:
- Water and electrolyte drinks
- Light snacks
- Soccer balls to share during the event
- Music to enjoy
- Activities for small children
