Jujuba is an amazingly danceable Afrobeat band! I find their concerts rather transformative. As in, I feel like a significantly different person in the days following. The music includes complex polyrhythms that move through the body, inspiring a sense of surrender as we allow ourselves *to be danced* by the music.
Doors 8 pm, show at 9. Yep, it's late, but it's an hour earlier than it used to be. Even if you just come for the first set, it's worth it.
Bring photo ID, $20 *cash* at the door, earplugs.
Dress for a warm indoor environment.
