About this Event
Get into the holidy spirit by creating your very own fused glass scenery.
These winter-themed pieces of art will be something you'll be proud to show off during the holidays, and would make an excellent gift too! You will create a lovely scenic view including birch trees, leaves, grasses, and whatever you can imagine. Want to add a small pumpkin? Go right ahead! The sky's the limit!
Your instructor will walk you through a variety of techniques including glass cutting, using frit, enamel painting, and even some small-scale flameworking. No experience is required; all tools, materials, and equipment will be supplied. For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn.
Please be aware that grinders will be used in this class, making noise that some participants find uncomfortable. Limited noise protection will be available, and participants are encouraged to bring their own protection for maximum comfort.
After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired and assembled with a metal display stand for your convenience. You will be able to pick up your finished artwork at the Canvas & Clay storefront.

Ages: 10+
This is a family-friendly event. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
