Fused Glass Fishbowl

Not all houses have pets- after all they sure do cause some chaos. And cats especially, we all know they don't often get along with their fish housemates. For those of you who have envied your friends cats but couldn't deal with the constant chaos that is feline companionship, or you've always wanted to have a cat and fishy companions get along this is the workshop for you.

In this fused glass workshop you will create a fishbowl, complete with fish, decorative items for your fishbowl, and you get to create your very own cat guardian. Complete with its very own stand so you can display your pets on your desk, countertop or any other flat surface of your choosing.

This beginner-friendly fused glass workshop will allow you to explore the basics of cutting glass and will cover techniques used in fusing glass. You will get to cut glass, grind glass, learn the concepts of contour fusing glass, play with some enamel and expand your creative muscles to build your very own non chaotic pet companions.

For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn.

**After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired. You will be able to pick up your finished artwork at the Canvas & Clay storefront.

Skill level: Beginner

Ages: 10+

This is a family-friendly event. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
