A darkly comic love story about need, power and the impossibility of verifying the past from American playwright Justin Sherin. 18+ contains adult themes and content.
I’m Not There is a blistering two-hander in the tradition of In-Yer-Face theatre - raw, Intimate and unflinching.
In a bare apartment, Sophie, a 38-year-old on the edge of divorce, reunites with Eve, her 20-year-old former babysitting charge. What begins as a fragile homecoming spirals into confession, power games and taboo intimacy that obliterates the boundaries of family, friendship and desire.
Fueled by punk rock and brutal honesty, Justin Sherin’s play is both a feminist reckoning and a punk confession: a fearless confrontation with love, survival, the unreliability of memory, and the monstrous contradictions of being a woman today.
