There’s no better way to start Thanksgiving day than by sharing the morning with our shelter pets! Furry Feast has become a cherished holiday tradition at KCHA, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you again this year.
With your love and support, we make this day a joyful celebration of our life-saving mission—and our pets absolutely light up with the extra attention, belly rubs, walks, and, of course, their special Thanksgiving muttloaf dinner.
We’ve found that hosting pets in smaller groups makes the experience even better. Each dog gets more one-on-one time with their human companions, and guests get more chances for snuggles, photos, and play.
