Come out for our giveaway* day of office and storage furniture left at our future home at 10 Dixon Avenue (*donations encouraged!) and your last chance for tours of the building. We will soon begin interior renovations to transform 10 Dixon Avenue into our new community library, and getting rid of excess furniture helps us get closer to our goal! See samples of the available furniture at this link: https://www.10dixonave.org/furniture-giveaway-day Stop by any time between 11am and 3pm to look through the items on offer. If you’re interested in larger items (like filing cabinets and shelving units) we recommend bringing someone to help you carry pieces. Some furniture is on the second floor, and the building doesn’t have an elevator.
Also bring whatever tools you might need to dismantle oversize pieces, although we will also have some drills on hand.
