Heading to Defiance Spirits for our first outing, the Funked It Up band present “Funk That Disco”
It’s love and war on the dance floor but our chosen weapons are drums, bass, and brass! There will be no blood on the dance floor only sweat, shapes and tears of joy!
For this is the “Battle of Disco Vs Funk” played out by 9 talented session musicians from Greater Manchester - including a few local Rochdale lads. The line up includes male and female lead vocals and a 3 piece brass section.
From previous battles, Disco holds the crown but Funk will never surrender.
So expect equal parts Disco and Funk a bit of crossover DiscoFunk but most of all expect to dance and then dance and finally dance!
