You are warmly invited to a fundraising dinner event hosted by Aghosh UK & Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Health Workers for Palestine and PIMA (Palestine international Medical Aid) to raise funds for hot meals for the people of Gaza.
Join us for an evening of delicious food and great company while you support a worthy cause. Your attendance will help provide much-needed aid to the people of Gaza.
Special Guest Speakers: Palestinian Doctors with first hand testimonies, and the Two White Muslims
The ongoing attacks on Gaza have brought immense hardship to 2.2 million Palestinians for over year. According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, more than 42,000 Palestinians have been killed (including over 16,000 children), thousands more remain unaccounted for under the rubble of bombed buildings, and many thousands have been repeatedly displaced.
Millions of displaced and vulnerable Palestinians, including children and women, are now forced to survive in makeshift shelters and camps, enduring heartbreaking conditions, with a high risk of disease. There is no safe place in Gaza.
Aghosh UK has been actively supporting the people of Gaza even before the attacks began in October 2023, working with partners to deliver life-saving assistance such as hot meals, clean water, and medical aid. By offering hot nutritious meals in Gaza, we aim to meet the urgent needs of displaced families, providing not just sustenance but also restoring a sense of dignity and hope at this critical time.

The Two White Muslims: Junaid Rahim and Muhammad Yusuf Bashford are two English Muslims who have been practising the faith for many years. They are very active in educating people about Islam and Muslim culture as the "Two White Muslims", and they are also Aghosh UK Ambassadors, promoting and sharing the of Aghosh UK. Dr Othman Atef: Dr Othman Atef was working in Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza when Gaza was attacked. He will share an eye-witness account of his experiences.
Dr Adeel Riaz is a GP Principal and Trainer based in South Staffordshire. He is also the Chairman of Aghosh UK and the Co-Founder British Islamic Medical Association. He is also an expert in managing emergency humanitarian responses.
