All nonprofits need to do fundraising, but it’s tough to know how to get started. Turn your uncertainty into confidence that will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to make a strong impression and close the deal. You'll discuss opportunities, approaches, and even how colleagues who are reluctant to make the ask can still contribute to bringing a fundraising strategy to fruition. Plus, you'll learn a fun trick for developing an elevator pitch and practice with each other. This 90-minute workshop is facilitated by Sara Baker, an experienced consultant focused on organizational strengthening and systemic change, who has obtained $50 million from foundations and local, state, federal, and international governments. Lunch is provided.
