Come on out to a special all-inclusive all ages yin yoga series in support of Samuel!Samuel is a bright, cheerful boy from Arnprior who loves Star Wars, Minecraft, Lego, and practicing Jiujitsu. In September 2024, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor (meningioma) after a severe seizure at school. Despite two surgeries, part of the tumor remains too close to vital blood vessels to safely remove. Samuel now needs specialized proton beam therapy in the U.S., involving six weeks of treatment, five days a week. This fundraiser will help with the costs for medical care, travel, accommodation, and time away from work to ensure Samuel gets the care he needs.
These classes will invite you to connect with your body as we slowly flow from one posture to the next encouraging a relaxing experience with invitation to flex, reach, and strengthen in a gentle way. This space can be a time to focus on the stress that we may have stored in our bodies from someone we know that has or is battling anything difficult to connect to this awareness and move the stored tension and emotions out of our bodies. This invitation can leave us feeling much lighter despite whatever you have going on in your life.
So grab your mat make a donation if you can to help this little guy through his battle and be brave as you look inward to find release, relaxation, and strength from within.
