Standing in Solidarity with the Cuban People 🇨🇺On night of amazing Cuban music and dancing 7pm - 10pm in the beautiful La Fonda Del Bosque at the NHCC. DJ Pancho will be your incredible DJ, and there will be a free dance lesson beginning at 7pm.
*This is a donation based event to raise money to support Cubans on our next trip to Cuba in April. 🙌🏽
The purpose: Cuba holds a deeply special place in my heart. Through Cuban dance and music, I’ve had the privilege of sharing the beauty, resilience, and vibrant spirit of Cuban culture with our community.
Today, that same community is facing profound hardship. With petroleum being withheld from the island, families are experiencing horrific challenges with electricity, running water, food safety, and access to medicine. Many are enduring circumstances that are difficult for anyone to imagine.
I feel compelled to act — and humbly ask our community, who has embraced and celebrated this rich culture, to stand with the Cuban people in a tangible way.
During our upcoming trip in April, we will purchase and distribute essential supplies — including food, hygiene items, and basic necessities — directly to families in need, prioritizing areas off the beaten path by tourists where support is often hardest to reach.
If you feel moved to help, any contribution — no matter the size — will make a meaningful impact. Every dollar raised will go directly toward critical supplies for the Cuban people. Even if you can’t make it for the event, you can still contribute. 💫
