Whether new to fundraising, stepping into a development role without formal training, or leading an organization and onboarding fundraising staff, Fundamentals of Fundraising is designed to set fundraisers and organizations up for long-term success.
This full-day training is the international standard for fundraising education, developed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals and taught locally by accomplished fundraising leaders.

Course Modules:
• Overview of Fundraising: Understanding philanthropy, why people give, and the role fundraising plays in mission-driven organizations
• Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program: Building a balanced, strategic development plan aligned with organizational goals
• Marketing for Ongoing Success: Communicating impact, donor-centered messaging, and using multiple channels effectively
• Building & Sustaining Relationships: Donor engagement, stewardship, and long-term relationship-building
• Securing the Gift: Annual giving, major gifts, solicitation strategies, and ethical practices
• Volunteers as Partners in Fundraising: Engaging board members and volunteers effectively
• Management & Accountability: Ethics, accountability, evaluation, and sound fundraising operations
Participants gain practical tools, confidence, and clarity they can immediately apply to their work to strengthen fundraising programs and organizational sustainability.
