About this Event
Over eight weeks, learn all of the ways companies give back to the community using nonprofit organizations as the conduit.
Classes will be held virtually with an interactive element that will allow participants to engage with the facilitator and learn from their fellow classmates. Expect to commit, in total, 24 hours which includes class time, between-class assignments and 1:1 sessions with the instructor.
Classes will be via Zoom from 12:00-2:00 PM PT on Wednesdays starting April 2nd through to May 21st.
To maximize learning, class size will be limited to 10 students with everyone being entitled to two one-on-one sessions with the instructor to help with specific issues.

- Giving by Companies, Corporate Foundations, and Companies with Donor Advised Funds
- Sponsorships, Underwriting, Licensing
- Cause Marketing
- Employee Volunteerism & Board Service
- Workplace Giving and Employer Matching
- Prospecting: finding leads, sources for finding the decision makers' contact information, tips on making the first contact, best practices for building relationships
- Cultivating prospects to gain the commitment
- Stewarding prospects to build long term relationships

- Fundraising professionals in Corporate Giving but lacking some knowledge and skills
