About this Event
Whether you're stepping into acting for the first time or returning to the craft with fresh curiosity, this class offers a supportive, exploratory space to build foundational technique. Students will work with a variety of acting tools, physicality, voice, text analysis, improvisation, and character development and apply them towards grounded, truthful acting.
By the end of the workshops students will:
- Build a character using physical, vocal, and imaginative tools
- Make strong, spontaneous choices in improvised scene work
- Explore how genre and style shape performance
- Understand how conflict and stakes drive dramatic action
- Apply these tools toward truthful, grounded acting
