About this Event
Swift Beauty Presents Fundamentals in Facial Injection Anatomy with Dr. Arthur Swift and Professor Sebastian Cotofana.
Dr. Swift and Professor Cotofana are joining forces to create a world-class curriculum that combines their expertise in medical education, injection therapy and facial anatomy. Hosted at the Miami Anatomical Research Center (M.A.R.C) in Miami on February 20- 21, 2021, this cadaver workshop will take attendees on an anatomical journey of the face from skin to bone.
With a small group of 40, this course promises hands-on training and coaching by both experts. Day 1 will focus on detailed topographical mapping, highlighting key landmarks, safe areas and critical danger zones. Ultrasound will guide participants under the skin to recognize previous injections as well as manage complications.
On Day 2, participants in groups of 4 per specimen, will dissect cadavers to identify vital structures, with an emphasis on facial vasculature, nerves, fat compartments, ligaments and muscles. Dr. Swift will demonstrate personal techniques for both neurotoxin and filler, while highlighting the optimal depth and location of injection. Professor Cotofana will then go into detail on the relevant anatomy for each injection site. Attendees will then be given the opportunity to replicate injection techniques with both needle and cannula on the cadaver specimens.
