This course is designed for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy professionals who are new to compounding or who have had training in the past but want a refresher. Physicians and other healthcare professionals are also welcome to attend!
COURSE CONTENT:
The course covers key principles of compounding medications, focusing on dosage forms, ingredients, and techniques. Participants will gain hands-on experience in a simulated compounding laboratory, allowing them to practice their skills with our well-informed, experienced, and engaging instructors. Additionally, the curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of federal, state, and local laws that regulate compounding practices.
Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Pharmaceutical Compounding Certificate along with 21 hours (2.1 CEUs) of continuing education credits for your participation in the program.
