The presentation will explain what is functional blood work and how it can reveal potential health challenges often missed.I'm Joe, and I bring both knowledge and personal experience to the world of nutrition. With a Level 4 qualification in nutrition from the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
My journey in this field began before my formal education. From my own childhood weight struggles, I developed a profound interest in health and nutrition that continues to drive my passion today.
This presentation will explain what is functional blood work and how it can reveal potential health challenges often missed by conventional blood work. The presentation will discuss the importance of considering multiple blood markers together, rather than in isolation, to gain a more comprehensive understanding of our health.
The second half of the presentation will delve into two topics dear to me: thyroid and gut health. I'll provide a brief overview of my own health challenges, illustrating how these issues can impact individuals and sharing the strategies I've implemented to address them.
We'll then identify specific blood markers associated with these challenges. By analysing these markers collectively, we can identify correlations and gain valuable insights into our health status.
We will then have time for a Q&A.
