Hello and welcome to Culture VS Event's twelfth Zine Workshop, as part of the Kunst-Spirationer, curated by Rygtepatruljen.✂️WHO CAN JOIN?
This workshop is free and perfect for the zine-novice and zine-expert, for visual thinkers and word-smiths, for people who'd like to experiment with a new form of artistic expression, and for people who are crafty and curious hobbyists.
**Due to the presence of sharp objects and the need for uninterrupted supervision, this workshop isn't suitable for young children. It's perfect for ages 11 and up, making it an excellent fit for teens, adults, and everyone beyond.
📚WHAT TO EXPECT?
During this event, you'll be introduced to several folding techniques, and get to experiment with different materials which will help you build a zine.
The overarching theme of the event is: "conspiracies", so your challenge will be to make up a funny / weird / far-fetched conspiracy around random, everyday objects - can you radicalize people into joining a carrot-people group? How have people become polarized between chocolate and vanilla ice cream?
You're more than welcome to come up with and work on your own wacky ideas but if you'd like a prompt to get the creative juices flowing - we've go you covered.
🖍️WHEN?
The workshop will be open from kl. 17.00 to kl. 19.00, so you are more than welcome to dip in and out, pass by, pick up a technique sheet or stay for as long as you like.
