Mae Fulu Miziki yn cyfieithu’n fras fel “cerddoriaeth o sbwriel” sydd, mewn ystyr llythrennol, yn ddisgrifiad cywir o’r casgliad o artistiaid cyffrous, anhrefnus, Affro-ddyfodolaidd-Pync-Assemble sy’n dod yn syth o ddyfodol lle mae bodau dynol wedi cymodi â mam ddaear a gyda nhw eu hunain. Mae’r casgliad amlddisgyblaethol hwn o artistiaid wedi’i leoli yng nghanol Affrica, yn brifddinas y Congo, Kinshasa. Ers sawl blwyddyn bellach, mae ei aelodau wedi treulio cryn dipyn o amser yn llunio cysyniad o gerddorfa wedi’i gwneud o wrthrychau a geir yn y sbwriel, gan newid offerynnau’n gyson, a bob amser yn chwilio am synau newydd. Mae gwneud eu hofferynnau, gwisgoedd perfformio, a masgiau eu hunain yn hanfodol i ymagwedd ideoleg graidd gerddorol Fulu Miziki. Mae eu sain unigryw yn cefnogi neges pan-Affrica o ryddhad artistig, heddwch a golwg ddifrifol ar sefyllfa ecolegol Gweriniaeth Ddemocrataidd Congo a’r byd i gyd. I Fulu gellir adfer a hail-swyno popeth.
Ers 2020 mae Fulu wedi mynd â’r sŵn i wyliau cerddoriaeth Ewropeaidd, gan chwarae mewn nifer o leoliadau cerddoriaeth, gwyliau a chynnal gweithdai gyda’r ieuenctid.

Fulu Miziki roughly translates as “music from garbage” which is in a literal sense is an accurate description of the thrillingly chaotic Eco-Friendly-Afro-futuristic-Punk-Assemble collective of artists who comes straight from a future where humans have reconciled with mother earth and with themselves. This multidisciplinary collective of artists is based in the heart of Africa, in the Congolese capital city Kinshasa. For several years now, it’s embers have spent an amount of time conceptualizing an orchestra made from objects found in the trash, constantly changing instruments, and always in search of new sounds. Making their own instruments, performance costumes, and mask is essential to the approach of Fulu Miziki’s musical core ideology. Their unique sound supports a pan-African message of artistic liberation, peace and a severe look at the ecological situation of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the whole world. For Fulu everything can be recovered and re-enchanted.
Since 2020 Fulu has taken the European music festival circuit in storm, playing at numerous music venues, festivals and running workshops with the youth.
