The Full Moon in October is also known as the Falling Leaves Moon, (Biinaakwe Giizis) in the Ojibwe nation. It is a time when Mother Earth is honoured with the grandest of colours. As all of Creation makes their offerings to her, we become aware of all the miracles of Creation before us and our spiritual energies are once again awakened.
It is a time for reflection and introspection when we should be consciously making the decision to stop putting energy into things that no longer serve us, letting go as the leaves let go of the space on the trees.
The Full Moon embodies a moment of power, where you may take in this energy, giving you the opportunity to bring change and transformation into your life. Being in Ceremony is a way to do this, to sift through your thoughts and feelings, to clearly see your intentions.
