How It Works
In the sound bath I use instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, quartz crystal bowls, gongs, and tuning forks to create, in some cases, binaural beats. These sounds promote a shift from active beta brainwaves to slower, more relaxed alpha or theta waves.
What to Expect
Guests lie on their backs on a yoga mat, with blankets and eye masks, allowing the sound to wash over them. It is a non-invasive, passive experience that requires no prior meditation skills.
After the sound bath the circle is closed and our guests have the opportunity to drift off home or to stay and share. Those who stay will be invited to journal, chat and have a sleepy tea together to unpack the experience.
The full moon brings a natural conclusion to past cycles and it is a time to let go of that which no longer serves.
The Sound Temple is a no phone zone. Enjoy the connection with others without digital distractions.
