Full Moon in Leo Drumming by the Lake
Monday 2 Feb | 8:00pm | Near Scrivener Dam
You are warmly invited to gather under the Full Moon in Leo. This is a moon of courage, expression, heart-truth and sacred self-worth. This lunation doesn’t whisper… it roars (gently, if you’re tender… but still 🤣).
Leo energy is the flame in the chest. The part of you that remembers who the hell you are when life gets loud, when you’ve been shrinking to keep the peace, or when you’ve forgotten your own magic because you’ve been too busy surviving.
This Full Moon shines a big bold spotlight on where you’ve been:
- dimming yourself
- craving recognition (and not receiving it), and
- giving your power away.
So now, you're ready to come back home to your confidence.
Ruled by the Sun, Leo, even under moonlight, stokes the inner fire.
It’s about letting your truth be seen, letting your heart speak and remembering that being visible is not the same as being unsafe.
This lunar moment asks:
What part of you is ready to rise again?
Where are you done playing small?
What would it look like to back yourself fully?
And instead of overthinking it (because hello, nervous systems)… we drum it out. We shake loose the old fear. We burn off the shame. We return to rhythm. We return to the body. We return to the bold, beautiful beating heart of who we are (... or sit quietly in contemplation, reclaiming the quiet grounding).
Full Moon drumming is time out for you.
Yes, there’s intention, release, a little magic and of course, there’s drumming… or rattling, chanting, laughing, howling, sacred silliness, whatever your spirit needs.
What to bring:
– A drum, rattle voice or heartbeat... all instruments (hands and hearts count too!)
– A blanket or chair and layers (the lake can get cool at night)
– If you need to eat, bring nibbles, heck bring a vino if you want!
– Something you’re ready to release and one bold intention you’re ready to claim
This is a free, inclusive, family-friendly event. All beings, all ages are welcome. Come as you are — soft, fierce, sparkly, chaotic, quiet, emotional, loud… you belong here.
Parking is limited, so please carpool if you can.
Let’s gather by the lake under the Full Moon in Leo, and let rhythm, breath and community remind you of the truth:
You were never meant to dim.
